Christmastime is officially over, and now everyone is starting to get giddy about celebrating New Years! I’ve always been a big fan of this holiday, because it forces me to reflect on another year passed, including everything that I’m proud of and everything that I may not be so proud of. To me, it’s another chapter in my book of life, and I think it’s so important to celebrate the closing of each chapter as well as the start of a new one. Plus, who doesn’t love a holiday that promotes dressing up and drinking champagne? No one, that’s who.
I can’t believe 2016 is almost over. What a strange year it’s been. Does anyone else feel that way? This will definitely be one for the books for me. I don’t think I’ve ever been so terribly unhappy, filled with joy, downright angry, overly elated, scared shitless, and unbelievably excited…all on such extreme, fluctuating levels over the course of twelve months.
Does daylight savings continue to throw you off for months after? Because it does for me…ESPECIALLY on days when the weather is particularly dreary. Gray skies are needed every once in awhile, I know, but it 100% takes a toll on my daily energy and leaves me feeling lethargic. Anyone else?
